郭太良，硕士，研究员，博导，全国优秀教师，俄罗斯自然科学院外籍院士。 科技部战略性先进电子材料总体专家组副组长，新型显示方向专家组组长，闽都创新实验室副主任，国家新型显示技术创新中心副主任，平板显示技术国家地方联合工程实验室主任。主要承担了863重大专项（4项）、国家基金、国防科工委、兵总、福建省重大 科技项目（2项）等20多项科研项目，研制出具有自 主知识产权的可显示视频图像的20英寸单色、25英寸QVGA彩色、VGA彩色、SVGA彩色、34英寸XGA彩色场致发射显示器，以及5、10、 20和34英寸FED背光源，为低成本、大尺寸FED显示器和背光源的研发和产业化开辟了一条全新途径。以排名第一获福建省科技进步一等奖，中国产学研创新成果二等奖各一项，授权发明专利100多件，发表学术论文280多篇。

He is mainly responsible for more than twenty projects including four 863 major projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China, project ofNational Defense Science and Technology Committee, two major scientific and technological projects in Fujian Province. He has applied for more than 220 invention patents, and 65 invention patents have been authorized. He has published more than 280 academic papers.
